I hope this finds you safe and well!\ud83c\udf39\u2764\ufe0f\ud83d\ude80<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today\u2019s tech world is dominated by AIs and their derivatives, offering instant answers, quick solutions, and the much-dreamed-of \u201cmagic pills.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amidst all this technological advancement, I questioned whether it was still worth having and maintaining a blog. (The amount of work behind a blog is immense and \u201cinvisible\u201d to most visitors here.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, I still feel that \u201citch\u201d and desire to share my opinions, my views, and the \u201chuman side\u201d of things. (Beyond the wonderful tutorials and PPTs where everything works, everything is practical and magical!).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I don\u2019t consider myself that \u201cold school\u201d guy. But still, I\u2019m coming from a time when TechNet forums and others like it were widely used to exchange high-level content, and I have always valued (and still value) this style of content consumption (through Posts, Articles, and Technical Guides).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s when I had the idea to create this \u201cnew blog\u201d named \u201cMy Tech Two Cents,\u201d where I plan to share my opinions, views, and aspirations about Cybersecurity and Cloud Computing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">But What About the Old Blog?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Well, I also thought that NOBODY visited my old blog (after all, I\u2019m not a famous \u201ctech influencer\u201d or anything like that). However, I realized that some of my content is still accessed by people worldwide. (Perhaps for complementary studies or routine consultation, anyway\u2026)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The old blog will be lovingly archived \u2764\ufe0f, and you can check out the old posts at: archive.gustavomagella.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Archive the Old Blog?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Well, just like you who are reading this post, I have significantly changed my career, aspirations, and opinions; my life has changed!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As such, it no longer aligns with my career\u2019s direction in recent years. I felt comfortable revamping and starting something from scratch, now more focused on my two main areas of expertise, Cloud and Cyber Security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Posts, Articles, and Technical Guides<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I will continue contributing to the community through my writings here, sharing ideas and concepts about technology, covering topics such as cybersecurity, cloud computing, study guides for exams, and my opinions on certifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">English? Portuguese? What else can I expect?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Well, I\u2019m choosing to challenge myself and create more English content. (I know, I know, there will be a lot of grammar mistakes etc. But I count on you to support me in these next challenges. (And (obviously) I\u2019m counting on Grammarly for this grammar support. hahaha)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Contrary to what was before (or what was expected), content in English will be much more frequent than Portuguese content (my native tongue). I\u2019m doing this not to depreciate my native tongue or the public in general. Still, I see that English brings me practicality and an exponentially greater reach than Portuguese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So then, you can expect some tags like [en-us] for English and [pt-br] for Brazilian Portuguese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Audiocast (Will this work? hahaha)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alongside the written content, I intend to launch some snippets and audiocasts here (that\u2019s right, audiocasts).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Initially, I opted for this format because I believe it offers an enjoyable experience for the general audience and tends to minimize the noise and distractions that a YouTube video might bring, for example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have nothing against creating content for YouTube (I have my channel and will continue posting some videos and courses occasionally in the future).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, YouTube brings many visual stimuli, distractions, banners, and even the media itself (video) can make you lose focus on the content. (Don\u2019t tell me you\u2019ve never spent a bit of time paying attention to the presenter\u2019s colours, lights, and set-up instead of focusing on the content being delivered in the video. hahaha)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Well, that\u2019s it. (Todo o trabalho por tr\u00e1s do blog \u00e9 gigantesco e \u201cinvis\u00edvel\u201d para a grande maioria das pessoas que visitam aqui.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No entanto, eu ainda sinto aquela \u201ccoceira\u201d e vontade de registrar minha opini\u00e3o, minhas vis\u00f5es e o \u201clado humano\u201d das coisas. (Fora dos tutoriais maravilhosos e PPT\u2019s onde tudo funciona, tudo \u00e9 pr\u00e1tico, tudo \u00e9 m\u00e1gico!).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">N\u00e3o me considero t\u00e3o \u201cold school\u201d assim, mas sou de um tempo em que os f\u00f3runs TechNet e outros do g\u00eanero eram muito utilizados para troca de conte\u00fados de alt\u00edssimo n\u00edvel, e sempre valorizei (e valorizo) muito esse estilo de consumo de conte\u00fado (atrav\u00e9s de Posts, Artigos e Guias T\u00e9cnicos).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Foi a\u00ed que tive a ideia de criar esse \u201cnovo blog\u201d, chamado de \u201cMy Tech Two Cents\u201d, onde pretendo registrar minhas opini\u00f5es, vis\u00f5es e aspira\u00e7\u00f5es sobre a \u00e1rea de Cybersecurity e Cloud Computing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mas e o Blog Antigo?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pois \u00e9, eu tamb\u00e9m achava que NINGU\u00c9M visitava meu blog antigo (afinal, n\u00e3o sou um \u201ctech influencer\u201d famoso ou algo do g\u00eanero). No entanto, percebi que alguns dos meus conte\u00fados ainda s\u00e3o acessados por algumas pessoas ao redor do mundo. (Talvez para estudos complementares ou consulta rotineira, anyway\u2026)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O blog antigo ser\u00e1 carinhosamente arquivado &lt;3 e voc\u00eas poder\u00e3o conferir os posts antigos em: <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.gustavomagella.com\">https:\/\/archive.gustavomagella.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mas, por que arquivar o Blog Antigo?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bom, assim como voc\u00ea que est\u00e1 lendo esse post, eu mudei consideravelmente minha carreira, aspira\u00e7\u00f5es, opini\u00f5es, minha vida mudou!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sendo assim, ele j\u00e1 n\u00e3o tinha mais tanta conflu\u00eancia com o rumo que minha carreira tomou nesses \u00faltimos anos, e me senti \u00e0 vontade de repaginar e de come\u00e7ar algo do ZERO, agora focado mais nas minhas duas principais \u00e1reas de atua\u00e7\u00e3o, Cloud e Cyber Security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Posts, Artigos e Guias T\u00e9cnicos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Continuarei contribuindo com a comunidade atrav\u00e9s dos meus escritos aqui, compartilhando ideias e conceitos sobre tecnologia, abordando temas como ciberseguran\u00e7a, computa\u00e7\u00e3o em nuvem, guias de estudo para exames e minhas opini\u00f5es sobre certifica\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingl\u00eas? Portugu\u00eas? O que mais posso esperar?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bem, estou optando por me desafiar e criar mais conte\u00fado em ingl\u00eas. (Eu sei, eu sei, haver\u00e1 muitos erros gramaticais, etc. Mas conto com voc\u00eas para me apoiar nesses pr\u00f3ximos desafios. E (obviamente) estou contando com o Grammarly para esse suporte gramatical. hahaha)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ao contr\u00e1rio do que era antes (ou do que se esperava), o conte\u00fado em ingl\u00eas ser\u00e1 muito mais frequente do que o conte\u00fado em portugu\u00eas (minha l\u00edngua nativa). Estou fazendo isso n\u00e3o para depreciar minha l\u00edngua nativa ou o p\u00fablico em geral, mas porque vejo que o ingl\u00eas me traz praticidade e um alcance exponencialmente maior do que o portugu\u00eas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Portanto, voc\u00ea pode esperar algumas tags como [en-us] para ingl\u00eas e [pt-br] para portugu\u00eas do Brasil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Audiocast (Ser\u00e1 que isso vai dar certo? hahaha)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Juntamente ao conte\u00fado escrito, pretendo lan\u00e7ar por aqui algumas p\u00edlulas e audiocasts (isso mesmo, audiocasts).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A princ\u00edpio, estou optando por esse modelo, pois acredito bastante que al\u00e9m de trazer um formato agrad\u00e1vel para o p\u00fablico em geral, ele tende a minimizar ru\u00eddos e distra\u00e7\u00f5es que um v\u00eddeo no Youtube traz, por exemplo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nada contra criar conte\u00fado para Youtube (eu tenho meu canal, e vou continuar postando sazonalmente alguns v\u00eddeos e cursos no futuro).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por\u00e9m, o Youtube traz muitos est\u00edmulos visuais, distra\u00e7\u00f5es, banners e at\u00e9 mesmo a pr\u00f3pria m\u00eddia (v\u00eddeo) pode fazer com que voc\u00ea se distraia e perca o foco no conte\u00fado.
